펑크 본좌, 펑크록의 절대지존 Green Day의 '97년 작품. 그린데이의 주요한 음악 색깔이라 할 수 있던 '펑크 팝'에서 조금은 벗어난 서핑송 'Last Ride In', 관악기 연주로 흥을 더하는 'King For A Day', 스트링이 가미된 발라드 트랙 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)' 등 색다른 그린데이의 모습을 보여준다. 발매 25주년을 기념하여 발매된 본 에디션은 새로운 리마스트링의 향상된 음질과 더불어 미공개 데모와 라이브 음원이 담긴 3CD에디션으로 제작 한층 높은 소장가치를 전해준다.
그린 데이 (Green Day)
1989년 데뷔한 펑크밴드로 멤버로는 빌리 조 암스트롱(Billie Joe Armstrong, 보컬, 기타), 마이크 던트(Mike Dirnt, 베이스), 트레 쿨(Tre Cool, 드럼)이 있다.
1994년 발매되어 큰 성공을 거둔 데뷔앨범 는 다이아몬드 판매량을 인증받았으며, 그래미상 "최고의 얼터너티브 음악 음반(Best Alternative Music Album)"을 수상하였다.
2005년 MTV 비디오 뮤직어워드(VMA) 올해의 비디오/ 최우수 그룹 비디오/ 최우수 록비디오 등 7개 부문 석권, 2006년 제48회 미국 그래미 어워드 올해의 레코드상 등을 수상하였다.
2010년에는 첫 내한공연을 통해 열정적인 무대를 선보였다.
